6. How do we find the appropriate place to plot a hole if the y-value is undefined when plugged into the original equation?
To plot a hole, the x-value that was crossed off would be plugged in to the simplified equation to get the y-value. If the number of the y-value ends up being #/0, it would be undefined. This would make the ordered pair have no y-value leading to the conclusion that there is no hole.
