• This video goes over a problem in Unit S Concept 7, solving equations with half-angle formulas.  In this problem, we use half-angle formulas and identities we learned in Unit Q.
• What does the viewer need to pay attention to in order to understand the concept?
• You must pay attention to the substitution of a Pythagorean identity and then bringing everything to one side.  This will allow you to factor and use zero product property.
• You must also pay attention to the end when I check for extraneous solutions.  You have to do this every time you square your problem because the answers will be "ambiguous."
